What’s Your Dream Worth?

Seven days since I started this blog. Yay!! First I want to thank all you amazing peoples who have commented, liked and followed me. It’s an honor to be typing and knowing that some people are reading this. To be honest I really wasn’t expecting this. I mean, I was definitely hoping for this but I can’t believe it happened. So thank you guys for joining me on this crazy journey. Because, These Are Our Dreams, and we should live these amazing, unique and fantastic dreams!!

Anyhow, today we’re gonna talk about worth. The worth of ourselves, our dreams, and the worth of others input. Now, if we don’t put worth in ourselves then how are we going to use our dreams to inspire and put worth into others?? Seriously, one of my main goals is to put worth and happiness into others! I don’t want this dream just because I want to have people watching me, or following me or anything.

This goes perfectly with today because I wanted to thank all of you amazing people for following and reading what I’ve posted. It means a TON! But, (yes, there always is a ‘but’!) if I didn’t have any followers, likes, comments, or even any views then I would still be doing this. I haven’t changed any goals. Because, I don’t put my worth on what others think of me. That doesn’t mean I don’t care about what others think, but I don’t base my whole life around it.

Lots of people say that it ‘doesn’t matter what others think’, ‘I don’t care’, ‘nothing get’s to me!’ And that is great and all, but really, is it true? Because if it’s true for any of you then please tell me I’m wrong. Seriously, if you don’t care what others think even a tiny bit then tell me. I don’t know everything, I don’t even know most things!! This blog is just my personal views and advice. It’s not like I’ve achieved my dream and I’m telling everyone how to do theirs.  😃

We all care what others think of us. Why would we want these dreams if we didn’t care? I, for one, want people to like me. I want people to be inspired by me, and I want people most of all to not be inspired by myself but by the one that I know and call my Savior. Caring about what others think isn’t a bad thing. In fact, I’d venture so far as to call it a good thing! If we never cared then how would we take advice from others?

That said, don’t take advice from everyone. I take advice from people whom I know and whom I know have my best interests in mind. I don’t do something before checking into it to see if it’s good for me or not. So, guys, when someone tells you that you can’t do something then don’t listen to them. In fact, ask them, “Why not?” And if they can give you a legit reason why you can’t then look into it, check the facts. And if those facts turn out to have some truth to them then prevent it by adjusting something. Obviously our dreams can happen, have you ever watched a movie, listened to music, seen something pretty in the window, ever seen a company? Those are all dreams that have been pursued! How awesome is that?! They happen! And they happen. Every. Single. Day.

First, above all, above all the practicing I’ve blogged about, above the pursuing, above everything. Find value in yourself. So today, make a list of all your amazing qualities. Make a list with everything you like about yourself and put it somewhere. You can put it in your room, on your fridge, wherever you’d like! Make the list selfish, it can be that you’re pretty or you’re good looking. Sometimes we need that, but don’t just do that. Do the deeper stuff like, I am kind, I am supportive, I am unique, I am worth everything. Our dreams are only worth what we put into them. Nothing can hold much worth to you unless you learn to find value and worth in yourself. If no one else has ever told you that you were worth anything or that you can do anything you want then today I want to tell you that YOU ARE WORTH THE WORLD. You’re worth everything to the people you love, the people you inspire and the people you will inspire.

“You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don’t know it, all of that doesn’t even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It’s not like you have forever, so don’t waste any of your seconds, don’t throw even one of your moments away.”
